{"id":1793,"date":"2013-05-30T11:26:29","date_gmt":"2013-05-30T09:26:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sacotin.com\/?p=1793"},"modified":"2013-05-30T11:26:29","modified_gmt":"2013-05-30T09:26:29","slug":"annie-bag-pattern-variation-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sacotin.com\/en\/annie-bag-pattern-variation-1\/","title":{"rendered":"{Annie} Bag pattern &#8211; Variation #1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is a first variation on the Annie bag pattern, I&#8217;ll show you a second one next week.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>This variation #1 has two advantages :<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It <strong>simplifies the construction of the bag and therefore lowers the difficulty level of the pattern<\/strong> because we&#8217;ll omit one of the most delicate step of the instructions.<\/li>\n<li>It <strong>allows you to use fabrics with a larger print scale<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a title=\"Annie\" href=\"https:\/\/sacotin.com\/en\/boutique\/annie-bag-pattern\/\">Annie is a pattern for a small bag<\/a> : 25 cm x 25 cm (10&#8243; by 10&#8243;) with a recessed zipper which is invisible from the outside.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1197\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1197\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a title=\"Annie\" href=\"https:\/\/sacotin.com\/en\/boutique\/annie-bag-pattern\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1197\" alt=\"Annie - Patron petit sac d'\u00e9t\u00e9 - Sac\u00f4tin\" src=\"http:\/\/sacotin.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/bandeau annie_1-1024x400.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1197\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Annie, the small summer bag pattern<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I wanted to use the &#8220;Ghastly family reunion&#8221; fabric by Alexander Henry with this bag pattern, finding that its small size and the curves of its upper edge was well suited to the mood of the print. Cutting and interfacing : <\/strong>Use this new piece to cut the bag body on the fold twice and interface them with the woven interfacing and the fleece.<\/p>\n<p>Proceed according to the instructions to cut and interface the other pattern pieces.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> In the instructions <strong>omit the &#8220;Bag body and yoke&#8221;
