Madison<\/a> is an elegant and practical bag with a zippered divider pocket that organizes the inside of the bag into 3 sections. And psst… the pattern includes two bag sizes !<\/p>\n

I have been wanting to create a compartmentalized\u00a0handbag pattern for a while, it’s now done with Madison<\/a>!<\/p>\n

I ranked the pattern an intermediate level but the\u00a0testers, and I share their opinion, feel that the pattern is also suitable for motivated\/advanced beginners.<\/p>\n

\u00a0An organized interior<\/h2>\n

As I said in the introduction, a zippered divider pocket creates three spaces inside the bag<\/strong>. 2 patch pockets complement the storage spaces.<\/p>\n

A triangle shaped bottom to play with contrasts<\/h2>\n

Contrasting colors and \/ or materials<\/strong> will showcase the design of the bag bottom that curves up in a\u00a0triangle shape on the sides.<\/p>\n

I love this aspect\u00a0of the bag and it is easy to sew it neatly.<\/p>\n

The triangular flap with magnetic snap echoes the shape of the bottom.<\/p>\n

Madison dimensions: width 30 cm (12″), height 25 cm (10″), depth 12 cm (5″).<\/em>

Personally I have a weakness for Large bags and I sewed a Grand Madison just for me, with a print that I love: Ghastly Family by Alexander Henry.<\/p>\n

Instructions\u00a0& pattern<\/h1>\n

Madison is an intermediate or motivated beginner level pattern.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The detailed,\u00a0illustrated instructions are 15 pages long.<\/p>\n

17 pages are devoted to the full size pattern pieces. There are that many pages for the pattern pieces because I decided to separate the patterns for the\u00a0two sizes: 8 pages are for Madison and 9 pages for Grand Madison.<\/p>\n
