Musette is a double flap saddle bag, compact and organized.
Musette revisits a classic shape and adapts to all seasons and styles.
{Musette} Double flap saddle bag pattern
I wanted to create a pattern that would preserve the classic line of a saddle bag but with a little something extra. This is how the double flap came to be.
2 flaps to play with fabrics, contrasts and facilitate the creation of a truly unique personal bag… While retaining the classic line of the saddle bag. The top flap closes the bag by attaching itself to the bottom flap with a magnetic snap. The flap underneath has additional pockets. I added flat piping on the Musette bag below to highlight the shape of the two flaps, but as you will see further down, thanks to the pattern testers, the model is equally beautiful in plain or contrasting fabrics versions.
Hidden pockets !
To keep a neat outer line where the focus is on the double flap design, the 4 pockets that organize Musette are hidden.
The bottom flap has a zippered pocket and when lifted, reveals a hidden patch pocket. The perfect place to slip transport tickets, for example.
In the lining, a patch pocket and a zippered pocket complete the organization.
Wear Musette as you wish !
The adjustable shoulder strap ensures a perfect fit whether you choose to wear the bag over the shoulder or across the body.
Musette dimensions: width 27 cm (10 1/2″), height 25 cm (10″), depth 8 cm (3″).
