{Quadrille} Shoulder bag satchel style

Quadrille is a stylish shoulder bag in a timeless satchel style.
The Quadrille pattern includes 3 sizes: Small and Medium for a feminine city bag, Large for a large unisex bag.

Quadrille is closed by a tuck lock, its shoulder strap is adjustable and its handle is attached by bridge connectors, allowing you to grab the bag easily.
Quadrille has 4 pockets : 1 bellows pocket on the front, 1 zippered pocket on the back, 1 zippered pocket and 1 divided bellows pocket inside the bag.

Small : Width 25 cm x Height 19 cm x Depth 8 cm (9  3/4″ x 7  1/2″ x 3  1/8″)
Medium : Width 30 cm x Height 23 cm x Depth 9 cm (11  3/4″ x 9″ x 3  1/2″)
Large : Width 35 cm x Height 27 cm x Depth 10 cm (13  3/4″ x 10 1/2″ x 4″)

Quadrille is an advanced level pattern because the techniques used are many and diverse. It’s a bag with many details, so it’s a long sew.

Quadrille is not the pattern to use to test this new beautiful vinyl or faux leather that you just bought and that you have never sewn. I know that you really want to cut into this beauty, but for your 1st Quadrille, be reasonable and use your classics, not too thick, that you know perfectly or fabrics easy to work with such as cotton, cotton canvas,…

Tutorials to help you

As written above, Quadrille is a technical bag, so you will find 3 tutorials with photos on the blog to help you achieve some steps :

The flexible foam may be replaced by a combination of interfacing + fleece (fusible fleece tutorial) but the bag will be less firm and the support of the handle less good.
